MISSION STATEMENT
To share the beauty of art with the masses by providing a
“house of culture” for experienced and budding new artists,
allowing them to grow and learn from each other, enabling
them to share their talents with the community and helping
them to realize their full creative potential.
ArTrujillo opens its doors to everyone regardless of
political, religious, or ethnic background. Our mission is
accomplished with several tools including educational
programs, workshops, exhibits, concerts, and other live
performances.

PARTICIPANTS MUST BE AVAILABLE TO VOLUNTEER AT LEAST ONE HOUR OF ASSISTANCE TO
GALLERY FOR A VARIETY OF PREPARATORY NEEDS AT SOME POINT DURING THE 2 WEEKS
PRIOR TO OPENING RECEPTION. (REMINDERS WILL NOT BE SENT OUT BY GALLERY
REGARDING VOLUNTEERING. ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE INDIVIDUALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR
SCHEDULING THEIR OWN VOLUNTEER TIME WITH GALLERY.)

ALL
PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING AT LEAST ONE LARGE SHARABLE ITEM TO ADD TO THE
BUFFET SPREAD PROVIDED BY GALLERY.

ALL ARTWORK
MUST ARRIVE READY FOR IMMEDIATE DISPLAY (EX. CLEAN, FRAMED, WIRED, ETC.),
INCLUDING A NOTE WITH THE ARTIST’S FULL NAME AND TITLE OF PIECE WRITTEN CLEARLY
TAPED ONTO THE BACK. SCULPTURE DISPLAYS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST.

workshops for groups of all ages including tours, mural
projects and cultural history lessons.

Our Mission
ArTrujillo is home
to a collective of artists from diverse cultures. The
group includes painters, sculptors, photographers,
designers, musicians and poets. Life-long professionals
and beginning students are often found working
side-by-side on group and individual projects as well as
producing public events. In its existence of less than
five years ArTrujillo members have exhibited all over
the Twin Cities in galleries, corporations, open studio
events, the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, the Science
Museum of Minnesota and on the street.
