Artist David Shepherd was chosen among the WNAG monthly award winners for his outstanding artistic excellence and extraordinary support of conservation. Ottawa, ON (November 7, 2005)— The Worldwide Nature Artists Group (WNAG) is pleased to announce its first fellowship grant of $5,000 US awarded to artist David Kitler under the WNAG's Flag Expeditions Program. Kitler will explore the jungles of Panama to observe and portray the endangered Harpy Eagle and its habitat in what will likely be the most comprehensive artistic study ever of the powerful and extremely rare bird. Coloured pencil, pen and ink As a zookeeper, Lori has worked with a vast array of animals ranging from the tiniest invertebrates to elephants and gorillas. While she loves to draw any interesting animal, her special area of interest and knowledge is that of reptiles and amphibians.
