Melanie was selected from a pool of applicants submitted from all over the nation. After residing at the historic Farrell Cottage on Grand Island of Lake Superior, Ms. Jeffs is creating a ceramic tile mural reflective of the unique landscape and shoreline of Grand Island. From participating as Artist-in-Residence with the Holter Museum and the National Park Service to garnering awards from the Montana Arts Council, Melanie Jeffs' artwork is consistently well received. A 4' x 15' ceramic tile mural by Ms. Jeffs is showcased in the lobby of the historic Roxy Theatre in downtown Missoula, Montana.
